We are seeking for an experienced Recreational Activities Officer (Wellbeing Assistant) to work at our The Village by Scalabrini @ 5 Mary St, Drummoyne.

The Recreational Activities Officer (Wellbeing Assistant) provides an exciting and innovative calendar of tailored activities, events and exercise programs aimed at ensuring an exceptional quality of life for the residents in our care.  Essential to your success, you must be passionate about working with the elderly and have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability to multi-task and work independently.

We have casual and part time opportunity.


  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy, or equivalent
  • Unit of competency HLTAID003 (Apply First Aid)
  • Previous experience in wellbeing/lifestyle programs and working with volunteers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy


  • Ability to speak Italian or other languages
