The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical leadership, guidance, supervision and education to all staff to promote excellence in care. The role’s main purpose is to work with and assist the Care Manager to plan, coordinate and evaluate the clinical and wellbeing care.

You provide expert clinical advice and direction that aligns with our Sono Io model of person-centred care and provide on-the-job coaching to enhance the skills of staff in their delivery of person-centred care.

This is a full time role for a term of 6 months, based at The Village by Scalabrini in Drummoyne.


  • Registered Nurse Div 1 (with NMBA) and hold a current certificate of registration (without restrictions)
  • 5 years post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive experience in aged care, including specialist knowledge and experience in dementia care and complex clinical issues
  • Demonstrated commitment to person centred care delivery
  • Sound understanding of the aged care accreditation process
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy
  • An understanding of and demonstrated experience with Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)


  • Post-registration qualifications relevant to Aged Care
  • Ability to speak Italian or other languages
  • Experience in aged care clinical management
  • Experience in education and training
  • Experience using iCare (healthcare information system)
