Scalabrini operates six aged care villages across NSW, five within the Sydney Metro area and the sixth located in regional NSW.

We are looking for casual Baristas for our Allambie Heights Village who are committed to quality, safety, and customer service excellence. The Baristas will be the face of the Village Café , primarily preparing and serving premium coffee and beverage products to order. They will provide exceptional customer service to all residents, families, and visitors of the Café, and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a vibrant Village community. 


  • Barista training certificate, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment, and a good knowledge of coffee and beverage products 
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of the NSW Food Safety Act and HACCP Principles
  • Knowledge of WHS and infection control principles
  • Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy


  • Previous experience working within an aged care setting
  • Ability to speak Italian or other languages
