About Scalabrini:

Scalabrini is a not-for-profit, aged care organisation upholding the Italian traditions of community, mutual help, family and Christian faith. With 6 aged care villages across NSW, we offer outstanding care to the frail aged and people living with dementia.

The role:

We are looking for an Administration Officer to join our team in Allambie Heights for three days per week (22.5 hours)

The Administration Officer based in reception is central to the seamless operation of our vibrant Village community and will be responsible for:

  • Daily timesheets and payroll management including roster coordination and submitting payroll reports
  • Assisting with roster coverage 
  • Coordinating all staff training sessions and maintaining skills databases
  • Regular compliance checks of staff employment conditions to ensure files are maintained and accurate including working rights and police checks. 
  • Being the first point of contact for residents, families, staff, volunteers and visitors
  • Creating resident new admission documents and processing resident discharges
  • It would be beneficial (but not essential) if you have experience using Systems such as  Page-Up, Emplive, CVCheck, SLS and iCare. 

The successful candidate will:

  • have  experience in administration or reception in a busy office environment (preferred but not essential – extensive training will be provided)
  • Be caring and compassionate approach when dealing with residents, family members and resident representatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Can work in a team and willing to help others
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good organisation and time management skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proven skills in using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

This is a Full-Time opportunity, working Monday to Friday
